The cuvée in 2014 was selected on 2 half-muids of the Vitatge Vielh including 1/3 of Petit Manseng, 1/3 of Gros Manseng and 1/3 of Courbu. After the malolactic fermentation, the wine was scrupulously aged in barrels and then in vats before being bottled after 9 months. It is a 100% grape wine! That is to say without any adjuvant, or even SO2, or filtration. It is a so-called "natural" wine but we prefer the term "free". Even if the nose can present oxidative notes of chard, medlar or even nuts depending on the opening since it has no antioxidant protections (no sulfites), the mouth is explosive of fruit: juice !
It is an open wine that gives itself 100% with lots of length and volume: a magnificent ripe fruit to be consumed "under the tree", free, ...
And the guard? Ah, we don't know. But it is not planned for that of course!
On the other hand: an incomparable drinkability and digestibility, no risk of headache when you like to drink a wine that gives pleasure.Pour acheter nos vins

The aromas are specific, ranging from peach to apple, pear and loquat, since there is no antioxidant protection (no sulfites added); the mouth is bursting with fruit with a very suave tactile sensation: a real juice!

It can be served with a raw fish tartare, steamed sea bream with fennel, and a platter of just ripened cheeses.

Without any added sulfur, this wine has that characteristic edge of oxidation. That brings out the ripeness of the blend of Petit Manseng, Gros Manseng and Courbu, with its combination of apricots and intense acidity. The wine could age a little longer and should be best from 2020. Roger Voss
